I am a German-born, American-raised editor and writer with over a decade of experience in book, magazine, online publishing, specializing in the comics and entertainment industry.

As Editor-in-Chief I helped launch TKO Studios and developed, edited, and helped produce the publisher’s full slate of titles, including the critically acclaimed Sara, Eisner-Award nominated Sentient, the multi-award winning Djeliya, and Feeding Dangerously, a graphic novel collaboration between TKO Studios, Chef José Andrés, and World Central Kitchen.

I started my career at Marvel Entertainment, where I helped develop and creatively guide titles like Punisher MAX, Ghost Rider, & New Mutants. I went on to edit a number of creator-owned comic series and original graphic novels including the Harvey and Eisner Award-winning Southern Bastards.

As a writer, I created the all-ages fantasy adventure Scales & Scoundrels with artist/co-creator Galaad, the tall-tale action/satire Shirtless Bear-Fighter!, with co-writer/co-creator Jody Leheup and artist/co-creator Nil Vendrell, and the dark fantasy samurai grindhouse The Devil's Red Bride with artist / co-creator John Bivens.

Previous clients as freelance comics editor, writer, and translator have included Marvel Entertainment, VIZ Media, Heavy Metal, Kodansha, Penguin Random House, and Wizards of the Coast.
